  • 17 Mar 2013
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • USC Health Sciences Campus, 1540 Alcazar Street, Los Angeles, CA 90033
High Velocity Low Amplitude (HVLA) thrust procedures have been demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of a variety of spinal and extremity disorders. In order to become proficient in HVLA techniques, practitioners must train and develop their palpatory and psychomotor skills. This course serves as an introduction to HVLA techniques that can be used in the treatment of spinal pain and dysfunction. The instructors will provide a rationale for the use of HVLA techniques and provide a solid foundation for the principles of these techniques. Module II is designed to allow practitioners with more experience using spinal HVLA thrust  to refine their techniques. The course emphasizes significant time in the lab learning and practicing HVLA techniques. Module III is a masterclass designed for highly advanced clinicians who have extensive experience using HVLA techniques and wish to improve their skills further.
